Life: After the storm
This will, hopefully, be my last post about the winter storm. Currently it's windy and lightly snowing. All of this wind has pretty much blown all of the ice off the trees, so hopefully we won't have anymore downed branches. Here is all the damage we woke up to...
All of these branches are from one tree.
This branch came very close to hitting one of our power lines.
My 9 1/2 boot on the branch.
The damage along our street.
Looks like we're going to be staying in today. To fight the cabin fever I am working on lots of crafts. So maybe...just maybe I'll be posting about some of the things I am making. Hint Hint!
Welcome to the Midwest. :)
ReplyDeleteI found your blog through SITS-I'm in Indiana, and we've been dealing with this ice storm mess, too. It's pretty and all, but the cabin fever is starting to get to me! Spring will arrive eventually!
ReplyDeleteYeah it's definitely different than the stuff we got in Colorado and a total 180 from what we ever saw in New Mexico!
ReplyDeleteHi and welcome! It was crazy seeing how far this storm stretched across the country! As much as I like snow and gray skys, I am definitely looking forward to spring!
