Fashion: Monday Shoes

Growing up I was never allowed to have white shoes other than Keds (and figure skates) and we only got a new pair once a year. My mom hated white shoes with a passion. She thought they looked cheap and got dirty too easily. My mom's dislike of white shoes carried over to me. For a good portion of time I would not buy solid white shoes. What finally broke me was this pair of Nine West shoes. I figured that because they aren't pure white and have silver hints, that I might be able to get away with it. I'm not going to lie, even with this and another pair of white shoes in my possession, I kind of feel badly that I own something that my mom hated so much.

Sorry mom! I hope that the creamy color with the slight shimmer will help them not be "those awful white shoes"
